Angus McLeod’s organisation (Angus McLeod Associates) provides training, coaching and coaches as well as the internet-based mentoring service ‘Ask Max’. Since 2004 he has been bringing coaching skills to managers in organisations from Government and the NHS, to manufacturing industry.
Biographical Description:
Angus is a prolific author in the areas of coaching and team development with several coaching and leadership books published with 3 publishers and in several foreign languages including Chinese, Russian and Polish. He has been facilitating Coaching Master-classes internationally for some years and has supported both the AC and ICF, the latter both nationally and internationally.
Angus designed both the Newcastle College ‘flexible learning’ Diploma course (2004 onwards) in executive coaching – attracting over 15,000 new students in four years. He has held a dozen or more UK Directorships and still holds a number of these. Angus is also a popular conference figure and guest speaker/facilitator at annual events. As well as his base in the UK., Angus has been developing academic and commercial contacts from his base in Philadelphia. When not working he travels, plays guitar, sails, rides a Yamaha 1000 motorbike and has a reputation as a cook – fortunately a good one! He says, “coaching is a passion, one of miracle and privilege, a metaphor for my life experience to date”. In 1995 Angus experienced a miracle of healing which turned around his progressive and irreversible nerve damage in both ears and he has been healing and occasionally the subject of study and research since then. He runs personal development courses including ‘A Question of Balance’ and a creative writing course in London and Zakynthos, Greece.
Angus is a Founding Director of the Coaching Foundation.
