Dr. Cooke-Lauder is currently the President and CEO of Bataleur Enterprises, a Toronto-based boutique. Over the past twenty years, she has become a sought after speaker on the leadership of change and innovation and has done an extensive amount of governance and strategic consulting in the not-for-profit sector. Jane’s diversified work experience has included sports management and marketing, investment banking, strategic and change management consulting, quality management training and consulting, and organization and leadership development. She has worked and taught on three different continents, in a number of countries and diverse cultural environments. Her personal passion is improving the quality of lives of women and children internationally by developing women leaders, fostering interorganizational and intersectoral collaboration, and developing new business and governance models for the 21st Century. A lover of the outdoors, Jane was married in Botswana and takes every opportunity to escape to the African bush. Jane serves currently as the Vice-Chair of the Zulu Women Empowerment and Education Foundation, the Vice-Chair of EthicalCoach and also sits on the board of Canada’s Ballet Jorgen as the chair of the Governance Committee. She is a graduate of the Advanced Level, Canadian Board Diversity Council’s Director Education Program.
