Dumisani Magadlela
Dr. Dumisani Magadlela is a seasoned executive coach, coach trainer, leadership facilitator, and organizational development strategist based in Midrand, South Africa. Recognized as a spokesperson for executive coaching, Dumi brings extensive experience from working across the African continent and globally, including his contributions to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He is known for facilitating sessions on personal excellence using the Ubuntu philosophy.
Dumisani holds accreditation as a facilitator in the Worldsview Nine Conversations in Leadership program and received training in Leadership Development through the Teleos Leadership Institute's Leadership in the 21st Century program facilitated by the UNDP. Currently serving as Senior Faculty at The Coaching Centre (TCC), a leading coach-training school in Africa, Dumisani plays a pivotal role in training executive coaches in integral coaching. Notably, he designed and delivers a unique module on Ubuntu Coaching at TCC.
In addition to his role at TCC, Dumisani serves on the faculties of various coach-training and academic institutions. He supervises master's students in different universities and enjoys international recognition as a facilitator and trainer in African capacity building.
Dumisani's contributions extend to media platforms, where he has been featured on numerous radio and television programs discussing coaching, mentoring, leadership, transformation, and Ubuntu. He regularly publishes articles in local newspapers, magazines, blog sites, and social media platforms. He co-edits the inaugural Coaching and Consulting Journal in Africa through the Africa Board for Coaching Consulting & Coaching Psychology (ABCCCP). Furthermore, Dumisani is a founding Board Member and Chairperson of the Ubuntu Coaching Foundation, dedicated to promoting access to coaching in underserved communities.
Outside his professional endeavors, Dumisani is a devoted family man, married with three children.
