Nobantu Mpotulo
Nobantu Mpotulo is an executive coach, process facilitator, and organizational development consultant with over 25 years of experience across public, private, higher education institutions, and non-governmental sectors. As a Buddhist practitioner and teacher, she supports her clients in integrating head, heart, instinctual, and spiritual intelligence. She engages in heart work with clients based on the principles of UBUNTU – "I Am because We Are."
Nobantu is a sought-after facilitator for leadership development programs and coaches internationally. She has diverse international exposure, having studied in South Africa and the UK, and has been awarded two career development fellowships in the US under the auspices of USAID.
In her coaching, Nobantu follows the client's agenda. Through probing questions and just-in-time observations, she guides clients to identify blind spots and embrace their shadows, delving into the subconscious and unconscious levels. She provides a safe and open space to explore uncharted territories, transitioning from non-directive to directive as needed. Mindfulness practices are integrated into her facilitation.
She contributed as part of the Alchemy Faculty for the FNB Leadership Development Program. Nobantu facilitated Truth and Reconciliation Healing Workshops for victims and perpetrators of violence in South Africa. She designed a twelve-month accelerated leadership program for thirteen generals and senior management members of the Department of Defense in South Africa. Beyond coaching in the corporate sector, Nobantu has coached management teams of rural elementary and high schools in remote areas of South Africa. Since 2012, she has coached UN Managers from UN Secretariat programs, Peacekeeping Missions, and UN agencies, along with coaching USAID staff globally.
