For more than two decades, Jo has found fulfillment in her role as a supervisor, collaborating with professionals as they explore and expand their practices to better serve others. Currently, Jo leads programs that train experienced executive coaches to become supervisors in the UK, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Her international practice as an executive coach and psychotherapist is both busy and diverse. Jo offers psychologically minded supervision to coaches, counsellors, psychotherapists, medical/surgical consultants, and specialist practitioners.

Jo's lifelong commitment to contributing to a just world is evident in her leadership roles and continuous voluntary work within NGOs in the UK and abroad. This theme of making a positive impact pervades her career. Previously serving as the Series Editor for "Thinking Global in Coaching Today," Jo has authored numerous articles on supervision and leadership. She is currently compiling contemporary works for a groundbreaking book on Coaching Supervision as part of the EMCC Routledge Mastery Series.

As a Director with the Coaching Supervision Academy (CSA), CSA Asia Pacific & Africa, and the International Centre for Reflective Practice, Jo actively contributes to the field. She is a trustee for an NGO and holds a public appointment with Scotland's Children's Hearings. Jo was a founding executive member of BACP Coaching and later served as Chair (2012–2014).
