Karin Wellbrock
Karin is passionate about helping people to be at their best, especially in the workplace. As a coach, her focus is on leaders who aspire to be genuine and authentic, possessing self-awareness and the ability to positively impact the people and world around them.
With a German background, international education, and work experience, Karin holds an MBA and MA in international relationships from Germany and the United States. She has worked for UNESCO in Paris, NEC Electronics in Europe, and spent almost two decades at Deloitte Consulting in Europe, North America, as well as East and South-East Asia in progressive roles.
Karin discovered her true calling in people development as a coach, mentor, and advisor when she joined Kay Group, an executive coaching and team development firm in Tokyo, in 2017. Her coaching approach includes awareness coaching for personal breakthroughs and learning, as well as systemic coaching to consider context and stakeholder interests in achieving objectives. She frequently collaborates with first-time leaders, guiding them to build confidence and discover their unique voices.
Karin is a native English and German speaker, holding certifications as a Breakthrough Coach, Gallup Strengths Coach, Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach, and Team Coach.
