In 2000, she completed a professional coaching certification program with the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and later earned her Master Certified Coach (MCC) credentials through the International Coach Federation.
Kathleen's commitment to coaching excellence is evident in her 17-year tenure on the faculty of the Hudson Institute, where she also served as a master coach assessor. In collaboration with Jack Zenger, she co-authored the book "The Extraordinary Coach: How the Best Leaders Help Others Grow" (McGraw-Hill) in 2010. This partnership led to the development of the award-winning Extraordinary Coach program, designed for managers seeking to enhance their coaching effectiveness.
As a popular speaker, author, and facilitator, Kathleen focuses on coaching leaders at all levels to understand and improve their personal leadership effectiveness. She has consulted with organizations and senior leader teams to instigate shifts in corporate culture and implement change strategies aimed at improving employee engagement. In 2014, Kathleen added coaching supervision to her repertoire and furthered her expertise by obtaining a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology in 2015.
