Shannon Salentine
Shannon Salentine is a leadership coach and consultant based in Durham, North Carolina. With over 20 years of experience in public health and global development, she focuses on working one-on-one with individuals and groups to help them discover their purpose, take meaningful action, and make a positive impact in the world. Shannon is dedicated to the belief that bringing our authentic selves to serve the needs of our community and the world allows us to lead with courage, compassion, and integrity.
As a trained Co-Active Coach with a Professional Coach Certificate from the International Coaches Federation, Shannon combines her expertise with a Master of Public Health in International Health and Development from Tulane University. Her coaching approach incorporates certifications in the Leadership Circle Profile and the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory. Additionally, she has received training in the neuroscience of coaching, embodied coaching, mindful meditation, and anti-racism.
Shannon's passion lies in partnering with leaders to nurture their vision for a better world while providing the necessary practices and tools to enhance their leadership skills and maintain personal well-being. She operates globally, collaborating with both individuals and organizations. In her day-to-day activities, you'll find Shannon coaching, collaborating, and speaking on the importance of living a mindful and purpose-driven life. While her mornings are dedicated to ensuring her kids get to school on time, her weekends are spent exploring Durham, NC, and beyond with her family.
